This is a compilation of blog posts I did during a 12,000 mile cross county road trip in the summer of 2007. I posted them here in a way so you can read them from beginning to end. Click on "Older posts" to go to the next page. Enjoy.

More road pics...Suprise.

Let's get going! Eh!
(There will be some tinge of Canadian in my voice....)

Eugene to West Bank.

Where did I leave off? Oh, got to Eugene and hung out with Chris and his family.
Chris moved here from Sarasota. He is actually the one who turned me on to myspace, so, thanks! I've lost many a day thanks to you! HEHE
Actually, pros and cons aside, it has been a wonderful resource, so, no complaints.

So got the urge to sport a new haircut, not to mention, the less hair to deal with, the better.

Bit of fun trying to catch a bat that infiltrated the house before bedtime

Hung out for a couple days and moving on to Seattle.
Thanks Christy, Chris, Janice and, Phillip!! (Another big thanks later on as well!)

So, heading to Washington, decided to try and see Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Rainier.
TRY to see them! As they say: "If you can't see Rainier, it's raining. If you can see Rainier, It's going to rain."
So guess what happened.....

The ride up the was nice.
Though some gorgeous forest next to Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge.
Had to go over a long grated bridge. Those things suck!

Skamania county!!!!

Found a nice area to camp north of that, then the rain came in.
Got lost around St. Helens National Park. Drizzle, fog, and lack of road signs.
And the left peg that got bent in Missouri finally snapped.
So Rainier and St. Helens were a wash. I mean, I went by them, just didn't see them.
High tailed it to Seattle and met my cousin Chris at his shop in Tacoma.
The bike got a much need wash, and a welder next door fixed my foot peg!

Moon man pics!

It seems that whenever I get a picture of myself I'm in that rain suit.
Cool shot from Chris' truck:

Had a day to relax and we hung around Tacoma.
"Pinky" Got some new graphics
I also had a chance to meet with a couple of my uncles in the Seattle area.

Uncle Vic:

Uncle Benny:

Again, great to see some family!

I'm going to head into Canada via rt. 97 Across the Cascades then into West Bank.
Absolutely terrific ride through there!

Cascades:

I offered to trade up, but he wouldn't hear of it.

Okanagon:

This area is pretty much wine country, really pretty.

Got into Kelowna, Got some preparations to do before heading BACK to Nevada!
Yes, back to Nevada for a little get together known as burning man.

Going to do an blog on that experience...
